Do we really need an extravagant experience like a ropes course to build cohesion and the comradery within a team? The purpose of a team building event is to get team members away from their work and provide an opportunity to foster personal relationships. Leaders with heavy workloads, tight budgets, and demands for work-life balance may find themselves searching for ways to accomplish the same goal but keep it fast, cheap, and easy.
